Turkey Veggie Tray

Gwyn had her Thanksgiving Party at school today and I volunteered to bring in the veggie tray.  We had a little fun with it.  Matt and I put it together last night and I think it came out so cute!  The teacher said the kids "gobbled" it up and went back for more!

The letters Xx and Yy

Since these letters are on the same letter card we did them together and because I messed up the paper too!

She just had real x-rays last week at the dentist and was amazed at the pictures of her teeth.  I wish I had taken a picture of the dentist pointing them out to her, bummer!

She of course did her Elmo app and the magnet sounds.  She gets confused with her Y sound, she keeps thinking is makes a Wah sound.  She better get it right on her kindergarten test!!!  

We watched a Yo-yo video on YouTube because neither Matt nor I can yo-yo!  Here is the link if you would like to watch it, it's quite amazing.

The letter Ww

We did W before Halloween but I never posted it and I still need to do x y & z. We've been sick & busy, but it will get done!!

I taught her how to play War. She was good at the numbers but stumbled on ace and jack a couple times.

Just for fun here are the kids at Halloween.  Gwyn is princess Twilight Sparkle (my little pony) and Bennett is her number 1 assistant Spike the dragon.

Here is Norah's 2nd birthday party.  I got a cricut mini so I've been playing with that!  I also embroidered a shirt for her.

Matt and I went on a cruise that he won through work, all expenses paid and open bar!  We even had a butler! It was awesome!!

The letter Vv

On to letter number 2, V!

I reintroduced Gwyn to Vicks Vapor rub in hopes that it would help her cough. She thought it was weird and didn't like that it made her shirt stick to her and that got on her shirt.  I assured her it would wash off and we moved on...

Lastly before bed we used Vicks Vapor steam and turned on the humidifier.

The letter Uu

Well we didn't do the the letter U yesterday because Gwyn ended up having an ear infection and she only wanted to be wrapped in a blanket on the couch so we did 2 letters today.

Gwyn is being the purple one with the yellow crown for Halloween, princess Twilight Sparkle and Bennett is going to be her number one assistant Spike the dragon, he is on top of the balloon.  And coincidently Norah is an owl for Halloween and owlicious is Twilight's number 2 assistant!!

T also got shafted since we had 2 play dates that day.

I also set up a surprise Tea party lunch for her after school.

We didn't do U or V this weekend, Gwyn has had a fever all weekend and it rose this morning.  Bennett has also been feverish and teething. I don't think it's related since he was only awake for a total of 5 hours yesterday and he woke up congested.  So into the doctor we go!

The letter Ss

We have been slowing on the letter enthusiasm.  We did the letter S on the 17th.  Actually Matt did it, I needed a sick day.

We did some skipping and on a different day we played the Spooky old tree game. 

The letter Rr

After finishing her Q work she wanted to continue with R and did the work stuff 1st.

If you hadn't noticed, rainbows are her most favorite thing to draw!

We had Ravoli for dinner which I forgot to photo because I was rushed to get her to dance class on time! But when we got home we played a couple of R games, pin the tail on Rarity

The letter Qq

Letter Q was split into 2 days because Gwyn had a fever and didn't feel like herself yesterday. She woke to find Daddy had left her 4 Quarters on the table! Then after school I made her a Quesadilla that she barely touched, poor thing.

After watching some He-Man she was up for some Q-tip art.

That was all she had energy for so we did the homework part today.

The letter Pp

Today was a busy day with the letter P.  We started the morning with Pancakes.

Then after school we did the homework part.

Here she is holding a Person she made as well.

Then she did a 100 Piece Pony Puzzle all by herself!! Well mommy helped with the frame, but she did all the rest!

Then we took a trip to the Polish market.  She asked what Polish was and that stemmed into an explanation of Poland and how we are Polish and about my Great Grandma and Daddy's family and how I have a maiden name and so does Aunt Jackie.  It is great to see her learning and what can come of just learning about things that start with a letter.  This has been more of a bonding experience than I even expected. ;) 

We bought Polish brick cheese, Provolone cheese, 2 kinds if smoked Polish sausage, Potato dumplings and pierogi!

We also bought Piroulines for Gwynnie,

...and a little something for Mommy & Daddy!

When you bite into these it's like a small shot of vodka releases into your mouth!  It's crazy!!
