Dear Family Part 2

Dear Family,

I apologize for my last blog it was meant to be sarcastic, but Jackie told me it was mean. Also a lot of you think these are just e-mails but they are my blog entries. I am insecure about the move and feel really sad about leaving my life here in Cleveland. I guess I just want to be reassured that this is the right thing and that it is exciting that we are moving home. I just feel sad.

Dearest Family,

I am very disappointed that no one except Wendy is excited that we are moving home. Not a single comment or e-mail and I know you all know! I guess we will just stay here where we are wanted. All my co-workers and neighbors are very upset that we are leaving and it would make them very happy to know that our family doesn't want us back badly enough for us to leave! Humph!

The more mobile daughter

Gwyn is now a walking machine! She started to take a few shuffle steps on her birthday but is now walking everywhere. She can turn around, step up little steps and she even tries to run (which is not a faster speed than her regular walk but she thinks it is). Life with her has been lots of fun. She can go down slides, sit in a wagon, brush her Dora doll's hair and her own hair. She talks all the time although I have no idea what she is saying. It is quite amusing though. She is great at giving hugs and kisses, it is heart melting to receive these affections from her now. She still shoves everything she finds on the floor or anywhere else in her mouth, but she is getting better and giving it to us when we ask. I learned quickly that you cannot do a finger sweep of the mouth now that the teeth have come into play. Yeah, ow! Here are a couple videos so you can see how far her walking has come.





Matt and I have accepted an offer on our house yesterday and if everything goes as planned we will be in MI by the end of May. Since we had to pay a bit out of pocket we will be staying with my Mom and Dad this summer to save for a down payment. While there we will be looking for a home in Rochester/Rochester Hills area, don't worry I know not to move in the Avondale school district, Thank you Laura Young! You'll have to come around with me! I'm excited to be able to go up to the cottage with my Dad as often as I want and being able to go to all of the events that the rest of my awesome family has! Dawn we could hang at the cottage whenever and for however long, no matter to me!!!! Aunt Deb and Aunt Jane I expect to have lots of cocktails on the dock! NO Sailing though, I hate it! I also expect all of you to attend ballet recitals or whatever kind of recitals b/c that is why we are moving back, for all of you to be in her life. I know I expect a lot but how are you to know if I don't make it perfectly clear. Oh by the way Dawn my friends mom is having a tu-tu making party, I will totally attend b/c it sounds like you may need a new one after the last bout of flu hit your household. Much love to you all.
