Dear Family,
I apologize for my last blog it was meant to be sarcastic, but Jackie told me it was mean. Also a lot of you think these are just e-mails but they are my blog entries. I am insecure about the move and feel really sad about leaving my life here in Cleveland. I guess I just want to be reassured that this is the right thing and that it is exciting that we are moving home. I just feel sad.
Aw! Poor Suzy! A change this big is hard, it's ok to be sad about leaving all of the good friends you've made down there over the years. It is the right thing to move home. I'm jealous that you get to live that close to your parents, I am also jealous of Dawn. Jackie & I have to stay where we are, and we both miss family a lot sometimes. Plus, what a wonderful thing for Gwyn to grow up near her grandparents. =)
ReplyDeleteWe are all excited to have you closer so that you will be able to go up to Gaylord a lot more often than you've been able to in the past few years. =)
Ha ha I didn't think your post was mean >=) LOL
Love you!
I didn't mean "mean"! Now I look mean - thanx Suz! :)
ReplyDeleteWe (TJ and I, I'm speaking for him since he's not good at responding to anything)are SUPER-DEE-DUPER EXCITED that you guys are moving back!!! We can't wait - I feel like we've been waiting 6 years, oh wait, that's right - we HAVE been waiting for 6 years!
I know it's one of the tougher things in life, to pack up all your things and move your ENTIRE life to a different place (been there). Especially since you've poured so much of yourself into your house and your friends there. But unfortunately, life isn't easy, if it were, we'd all be happy ALL the time, and what fun would that be?! You have good family, and good friends, and you won't be moving too far from your Cleveland friends either. 3 hour drives are EASY, trust me! Those 6 hour-drives to Cleveland to see my only sister were not easy, although they were well worth it EVERY single time (except for when you told me Gwyn would come if I came there, and then she didn't - she waited an extra day)!
When you start getting down, pick up the phone and call me - I will keep reminding you why you're doing this. It's the best thing for your family!!! I will get to see Gwyn's first haircut, her communion, her dance recitals, her concerts, her sporting events, meet her friends, see her school, meet her boyfriends, and best of all - often!!! It won't have to be so well-planned out, a 3-hour drive is awesome for taking half-days for a full weekend, or just coming to see you guys for a day(or come out to the lake here!). It will be FABULOUS!!!
Going up north will actually be enjoyable for you guys, instead of a big stress. We can camp, we can boat, we can ski, we can do wine-weekends in TC together! All things that were too much when you had a 7-hour drive each way to worry about. Your MI friends will come back into the picture, don't worry about that - good friends always pick up where they left off.
And you don't have to pay rent for a while, and you can go shopping and do lunch with mom anytime you want, you get FREE BABYSITTING!!! And oh yeah - have I mentioned how EXCITED I AM?!?!?! Your new house is going to be bigger and more beautiful than the last one - and you'll get a WAY cooler kitchen! :) And dad can help you re-do anything you hate about it, right dad? No worries, as your bff, I will be there for it all.
I know it will be hard for you, but no worries, everything WILL work out in the long-run. Your Cleveland homies will come see you in MI too.
I CAN'T WAIT, I CAN'T WAIT, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
See you soon in Cleveland (for the last time - yay!).
Love you!
I'm excited you're coming home Suz...I want to take advantage of both of our "stay at home mom" statuses and get some fun get togethers planned!
